Spider-Man: Miles Morales Costume

After making a splash in Marvel’s Spider-Man, young Afro-Latino superhero Miles Morales is finally getting his own game with this year’s release of Spider-Man: Miles Morales. And just like the original game, Miles will be able to unlock a variety of different costumes as he swings around Harlem.

The first suit Miles can wear is a new design by Chase Conley, who was the designer behind the spiffy Animated Suit in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. This one ditches the form-fitting spandex of the previous games in favor of a looser suit that almost looks like a tracksuit and includes some color-matched sneakers. It’s a clear nod to Miles’s early comics appearances in which he borrowed Peter Parker’s suit before finding his own.

Other suits in Miles’ closet include the Brooklyn Visions Academy suit, which he unlocks by taking all the Roxxon Lab and Underground Hideout challenges, as well as the 2020 suit that gives him the ability to change his body into a shifting matter version of himself for some extra special takedowns. The final new suit that Miles can pick up will be a reimagining of his classic outfit, which he’ll earn after finishing the climactic battle in Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man 3.

All of these suits offer something unique to the character. The Brooklyn Visions Academy suit, for example, is a good way to celebrate Miles’s college experience and the diversity of his school. The 2020 suit can be worn to show support for racial justice, and the Miles Morales Costume itself is bold and eye-catching for those looking to stand out at any event.
