Lote Tree Leaves

Lote tree leaves are a type of leaf from the ziziphus species of trees, which are well known in the Middle East and also some regions of Asia. They are also called nabak leaves, and are thought to provide numerous health advantages.

Celtis australis is a deciduous shrub or small tree native to parts of Africa, Asia and Europe. It has long leaves that are rough on the surface and furry underneath, dark grey-green throughout the year but fading to yellow in autumn. Its flowers are hermaphrodite and are borne either singularly or in clusters, and the fruit is a drupe that is initially yellow, then black/ purple.

Taking lote leaves regularly helps reduce the rate of high blood pressure, high cholesterol and other diseases like asthma, diabetes and cancer because they are enriched with antioxidants that relax your arteries and increase your blood flow. In addition to this, they help in the treatment of digestive problems such as gas and constipation.

Amongst many other benefits, the lote leaves are used as a natural skin moisturizer and can be easily found in most beauty products. They are believed to be good for reducing the appearance of wrinkles and scars, while also boosting elasticity and firmness. They are also a great source of antibacterial and astringent properties, which make them effective in treating wounds and infections. Additionally, they are a powerful ingredient in many hair products such as shampoo and conditioner.
